Two Organs · Munich Cathedral

Exodus

A monumental work for two organs, premiered by Kirsten and Ruben Sturm at Munich Cathedral. The piece depicts the biblical crossing of the Red Sea: two mighty organ sound-walls rise and divide, evoking the waters opening with overwhelming force.

Violin Concerto · Wind Orchestra

Sinfonia Maris

A violin concerto for symphonic wind orchestra, written for and premiered by Matthias Well. The solo violin appears as a small boat navigating the vast sea, while the music mirrors the ocean's shifting states — from tender calm to uncanny power — always vast and infinite.

Trio · Violin, Cello, Accordion

Totentanz

Inspired by a surprisingly joyful Indonesian death ritual, this trio blends that vision with the medieval tradition of the danse macabre. Premiered by Trio Wellcaru, the piece fuses ritual energy with a haunting cinematic line.
