Two Organs · Munich Cathedral

Exodus

A monumental work for two organs, premiered by Kirsten and Ruben Sturm at Munich Cathedral. The piece depicts the biblical crossing of the Red Sea: two mighty organ sound-walls rise and divide, evoking the waters opening with overwhelming force.

Violin Concerto · Wind Orchestra

Sinfonia Maris

A violin concerto for symphonic wind orchestra, written for and premiered by Matthias Well. The solo violin appears as a small boat navigating the vast sea, while the music mirrors the ocean's shifting states — from tender calm to uncanny power — always vast and infinite.

An oratorio for choir, soloists and orchestra, based on the Lamentations of Jeremiah. The music unfolds as an epic narration where voices and instruments let the listener experience both devastation and the fragile spark of hope.

Totentanz

Inspired by a surprisingly joyful Indonesian death ritual, this trio blends that vision with the medieval tradition of the danse macabre. Premiered by Trio Wellcaru, the piece fuses ritual energy with a haunting cinematic line.
